Omega-3 fatty acids are essential long-chain fatty acids that our bodies cannot produce on their own, meaning they must be obtained through our diet. Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) are two of the most important omega-3 fatty acids, which are primarily found in oily fish.
