NAC – drei kurze Buchstaben, volle Superpower! Die ausreichende Zufuhr von Cystein, z. B. als NAC, also N-Acetyl L-Cystein, und L-Glycin ist wichtig, um eines der stärksten Antioxidantien im Körper herzustellen: Glutathion. Und das brauchen wir, besonders als Athletes. Denn wusstest du, dass intensive Training-Sessions zu oxidativen Schäden führen können?! Im Training werden vermehrt freie Radikale gebildet, die die Strukturen im Körper angreifen können.
